Benjamin R. Helwig was born on 03/29/1988 in New Jersey. Ben started going hunting with his dad at the early age of eight. As time went on Ben set bigger and better goals for myself. He enrolled in the Colorado Outdoor Adventure Guide School and graduated with a professional guide diploma. During his professional guiding, Ben became interested in the outdoor filming industry, where he honed and sharpened his filming skills, along with sharpening his bow hunting techniques. Ben has filmed with numerous shows including Higher Ground Outdoors, World Extreme Bow Fishing TV, and is also credited with filming other big game hunts which has aired on the top outdoor networks. Ben is a very skilled bow hunter and has harvested over 25 P&Y whitetails and many record book fish with the bow.
Ben also enjoys the opportunity to teach younger, upcoming sportsmen and women the survival tools and hunting skills to be successful in the wild.
Ben’s biggest enjoyment is capturing life time memories in the field on film at a professional level. Ben states that “there is a fire that burns with in all sportsman that cannot be described, but drives us as sportsman to do better for this amazing sport and to keep the tradition burning within are youth” Ben’s dedication and drive to provide award winning film will become an invaluable asset to The Rule Pro Staff Team.
