Fred Burgstahler

Born January 12, 1966 , growing up in West Milford NJ.  I was introduced to hunting at the age of 10 by my Step-Father Ken Rhinesmith.  In 1979, at age 13, I harvested my first buck - I was hooked.  I have traveled all over the United States and Canada with family and friends.  I enjoy hunting whitetails with the bow and gun.  My best hunt was in Alberta, Canada 1994 where had the joy of harvesting a Boone and Crocket buck scoring 185 5/8.

Now I film with my hunting buddy Phil Kozak whom I’ve been friends with for twenty years.  It was more than five years ago that we decided to film our experiences hunting together.

Still living in NJ with my wife Cathi Lynn and my sons Allen and Craig, I really enjoy passing on the tradition and good hunting skills to my sons.  Finally, I would like to thank my wife Cathi Lynn for her support in my life’s passion.

Come along and enjoy the outdoors, in many parts of  U.S. and Canada, with me and the other Pro-Staff members, as we film some of the best hunts for The Rule, and go in search of the ultimate trophy.
