Todd Hughes (ProStaff Member)

Todd Hughes was born in Van Buren County Iowa in July of 1967. He grew up hunting and fishing with his dad “Chip” and grandfather in S.E. Iowa pursuing small game animals and fishing for anything that would tug on his line. Todd left for college to play baseball and spent 3 years in Tennessee before graduating and returning to his hometown in Iowa. His growing passion for whitetails led him to start his own outfitting business. Over time in the outfitting business, Todd had some unique opportunities to meet some of the most fanatic whitetail hunters in the country. When Todd is not busy studying and chasing whitetails in the winter months, he works as an agronomist for a local fertilizer company, where he is the seed manager, selling corn, soybeans and fertilizers to the local farmers. Todd’s agronomy background will prove to be an important and valuable factor with The Rule TV Show. Todd’s knowledge has landed him a spot with the Rule Pro-Staff crew. The plans are to have Todd host a new in show segment that will teach fellow hunters, how and where to plant food plots, including managing them for year round growth and even tips on how to improve an existing food source to keep deer in your area year round. Todd enjoys the chess game of figuring out big whitetails and the food plot management tips is just a natural day to day occurrence and looks forward to helping people develop better food plot and harvesting bigger deer.
